Review on Shabbat Candles - 3 Hour Burn ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Time - Pack of 72 Traditional Shabbos Candles by Zha Rivera

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Why are Shabbat candles made in China?

This is a first rating as I have just received these candles. I'll keep updating after I've burned a few. Many people ask where these candles are made. As you can see in the photo"PRC" PRC. I'm not familiar with these specific candles, but many of the candles I've purchased that were made in China contained melamine (a white plastic powder) that leaves a residue on the bottom of the candle holders. It seems to be added to lighten candles. I don't want to burn plastic on Shabbat! Again, I don't know if these candles contain melamine, but I suspect. These candles look very small. I'll see how long they burn. I am very disappointed that I can no longer find Shabbat candles made in Israel.
