Instantly melted for specialty candles

You know, there are scammers and scammers in every faith. These distributed daylight candles burned to the ground in ten minutes. God!

The box fell apart completely.

The box the candles came in is completely broken and looks so old. But the candles looked good. I was lucky enough to have the old box my previous candles came in and I was able to transfer the candles to the old box which still looked new.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Good and not so good

The wick is good, easy to ignite. They lasted a normal time and had no odor. Unfortunately, the candles were slightly smaller in circumference than the hole in the bobach, and I had to find smaller ones and/or use foil to give them support. Dripping wax left a mess in the bobetch that was harder to clean than any brand I've ever used. I don't like using disposable eyelets, but I'll have to do it until I can order and get a more decent brand of candle. I don't like waste so I keep them to use…

Pros
  • Excellent design

Who knew Shabbat candles could be so wonderful?

I never thought I'd be compelled to review candles - I rarely review anything I buy from Revain - but these candles were far better than the frustrating experiences we've had over the past few years. I thought I should check them out. We have used Shabbat candles from several major brands and found that our last few boxes were terrible. The wick is difficult to light, goes out quickly and the wax melts so much that candlesticks are difficult to clean. I decided to look for Revain candles and…

Why are Shabbat candles made in China?

This is a first rating as I have just received these candles. I'll keep updating after I've burned a few. Many people ask where these candles are made. As you can see in the photo"PRC" PRC. I'm not familiar with these specific candles, but many of the candles I've purchased that were made in China contained melamine (a white plastic powder) that leaves a residue on the bottom of the candle holders. It seems to be added to lighten candles. I don't want to burn plastic on Shabbat! Again, I don't…

  • Exchange possible

Please check and seal returned candle boxes before reselling!

An important message for shipping management: If you are reselling candle boxes that have already been sold, seal the box! My purchase arrived unsealed, all 72 candles bouncing around in the mailer! It's not the courier's fault. But the fault of the management of the returns/resale department. Your employees don't fail. Give them time to inspect the return and seal the boxes properly before reselling. If the seal is broken and I have to count all the loose candles and inspect for damage, then…
