I connected this device to the ceiling projector in my classroom. I can now access the projector from my laptop via Bluetooth instead of a long HDMI cable across the floor. I connected a second monitor to my laptop via the HDMI port and was able to set the projector to mirror the second monitor. I can now conduct online classroom sessions on a second monitor (which is mapped to my projector for any students who are live) and leave my laptop as something to work on and use without interrupting the online classroom software. If there is one small downside, if I turn off the projector and then turn it on again, I have to manually retrieve Bluetooth from the projector again (the computer doesn't recognize that the projector turns on automatically and doesn't start using it). But for the sake of simplicity, the lack of a second HDMI cable doesn't really bother me. Maybe there's a Windows setting I can change (I'll check when I'm at least at some energy level, which isn't often the case now that I'm a teacher).
