I have an old Fuji XP that I have been using for several years. It worked great and I took it snorkeling a few times. I upgraded to the XP50 for higher quality HD video and photos at the recommendation of a photographer friend who said the image quality couldn't be better at this price point. I took the new XP50 with me on my recent cruise to the Bahamas. It worked great, took great photos and videos until I took it to snorkel off Nassau. As soon as it hit the water, the rear window leaked and the camera failed. Luckily the battery and SD card slot didn't leak and I didn't lose my photos etc. I'm pretty sure this camera is just a defect as my other Fuji still works perfectly, but Fuji definitely needs to step up quality control if they are going to sell these cameras as waterproof and shockproof!
