Alienware Owner for Messenger & Shoulder Bags

I don't normally write reviews but this one deserves it! I bought an Alienware M17X computer and needed a case. Of course, like many people on these blogs, I spent a lot of time researching the limited number of bags/cases that would fit this computer. You can check the dimensions of this computer on the Alienware website. Overall, this case offers the best protection money can buy. Pros: The black inner case is very comfortable. Fits the M17X like a glove and provides excellent protection against shock and chatter. The outer casing is made of hard, impact-resistant plastic. Generally built like a rock! Someone mentioned that they dropped their computer and case in the water and later found it dry. Looking at this case, you can easily understand why this is the case. Probably the bullet would have been rejected, but not an armor-piercing projectile. It's easy to see why military personnel love this case. It also fits very well under an airplane seat. Cons: There is enough room for a power adapter and a small surge protector. There is also room for just light paperwork. It looks solid - a dark black case with latches on three sides. Women might want to consider the desert tan. Looks less impressive. After all, as others have pointed out, it weighs a lot more than a soft bag. Calculate the total weight of your computer and add the dry weight of this bag. It's not a problem for me, maybe for others it is. Can I send this back to Revain? No way! This is by far the best protection you can buy for an expensive big screen computer. Pelican has a long standing reputation for producing very high quality cases. I have a small one for my camera. For those who want more space for play equipment, consider a wheeled bag/suitcase. Hope that helps!
