As I rent and am not allowed to use nails or screws on the wall, these hooks seemed perfect to me. I put a very small 6" x 6" sign on the wall above the bed. The maximum weight is given as 15 lbs. Plaque no more than 2 kg. The hook lasted ONE day. Luckily I didn't sleep in the bed, otherwise if it falls off the wall, one of the sharp corners could very easily hurt my face or get in my eye. He also tore a piece of paint off the wall when he fell. I would be better off using a small nail. Now I have a hole in the wall that my landlord won't like. I have a large sign that didn't fall, but I'm afraid if I try to pull the hook it will rip off another piece of the wall. Strongly disappointed.
