Review on πŸ“ High-Quality Raspberry Touchscreen: ELECROW 1024X600 7" IPS Portable Touch Display by Shawn Jackson

Well made and plays very well.

First of all sorry that the video is upside down. So annoying that my phone decides how to take photos and videos. It can be so powerful! I can rotate pictures to fix them, but I don't know how to rotate videos yet. Just wanted to post a video so you can see how this monitor works. It was well packaged with lots of foam for protection. There is a plastic film on the screen to keep it fresh. Looks perfect when you take it off. It is well made and very well finished. As you can see on the back of the board they do an excellent job of connecting and soldering everything. Nearly perfect. Hooking it up was easy, just power on with the included USB-C cable, connect the included HDMI cable to mini-HDMI and you're good to go. Everything is well marked on the back. Starts immediately and plays well. I tested it with some tube video from a laptop, 4K looks great on this small monitor. I wasn't expecting much from the speakers but they work well, about the size you'd think. I also appreciate that it comes ready to attach a regular sized Raspberry PI or Raspberry PI Zero directly to the back of the monitor, very handy. I want to try the zero just to see how this little board performs with this screen. Should be interesting. Generally very satisfied, the price is good, I am happy to recommend it.
