I should probably say I didn't use this brush as a snorkel, but for my purposes it was just what I needed. As a man with old cast iron radiators, I was looking for something that would help me clean out the dust that had accumulated between sections over the last 60 years. It helped: It was heavy enough to pull out 0.5 inches of old dust and pet hair that just barely lingered, but soft enough not to scratch the paint in the process. another, narrower brush (runs across the cooler sections, and this went forward in between) But if you don't have material accumulated over decades, that will probably do.
