I usually wear size 8 on Nike or Adidas, I ordered 8.5 and it fit me like 8. The sole is very thick and the toe flex is a little more than I'm used to am. I tried bouncing a little on the balls of my feet (like skipping rope) and it seemed like I was swinging forward. My reason for returning is quality. The tongue padding has an open edge. For this price I expect a well stitched/coated edge. In fact, I looked at all the athletic shoes and sneakers, and none of them had as raw an edge as this one. Yes, I know it's in the trunk.
