The perfect upgrade to a PAR16 bulb

Media could not be loaded. Our basement was dark and gloomy despite 9 PAR16 light bulbs. We calculated an annual cost of about $100 to replace burned out PAR16 bulbs every two years, plus the inconvenience of the process. Welcome LEDs as an electrical engineer, I know great economic benefits, I see these 8W LEDs are much brighter than 60W PAR16s, don't overheat, dim smoothly, don't flicker, last about 10 years (haven't seen some LEDs at home degrade, although it still does too early to tell) and look very aesthetically pleasing. There is no downside to using LEDs versus incandescent bulbs, I can say that without a doubt. Replacing each PAR16 with these LED sockets takes about 30 seconds if done correctly (please watch the video). I hope this review and photos help you make an informed purchase decision. Update: It's been a few weeks now and the light is great, no flickering or anything unusual has been reported, updating this review to 5 stars.
