These stools are very well constructed and fit our Cost Plus chart perfectly. Metal looks like something "old school" from the 40's. The wooden tabletop is "aged" and easy to assemble. ***** Supplied in a box. Comes in approximately 3 separate parts: 1. Wooden board 2. Adjustable "screw" stand with lock (you screw the stand to the wooden surface) and 3. The "legs" are already connected and the stand slides in the middle of the leg.
