Man. I'm very glad I found this spike on Revain! I have an old Archer soldering iron that is at least 20 years old if not older, and finding replacement tips for this thing is like looking for a needle in a haystack. OK. I only use one of these domed metal razor glasses after each use to clean the tip. I only had to tin the tip ONCE. It just works and stays clean. EXCELLENCE! This is truly a genuine WELLER brand handpiece. My Archer soldering iron gets very hot, red hot to be precise, but this tip can handle the heat! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
