I really want this product to be liked more

I really wish I liked this product more. I have found that the slider does not snap and stays in place during use. Move the blade down while cutting. It's true that not all blades will fit, we use one of these in the kitchen for small jobs where kitchen scissors just won't fit. And we prefer Z-style blades, but to make it work with this handle I have to carefully remove a millimeter or two from the blade with a needle file. We used it to replace the regular aluminum cap as the cap often came loose or fell off when you took it out of the mug on the fridge. The plastic of it also seems unsafe, thin and fragile. I wish they just made this device out of aluminum or they had a handle that screws onto the cap. Or maybe a magnetic pen to attach to a magnetic knife strip?

Pros
  • Has a secure, retractable #11 blade
Cons
  • Crumpled
