I've been looking for Apple-specific solutions to better protect and maintain order on my Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad + Magic Trackpad 2. I have to admit that there aren't many options for this combination of devices, and the options available are quite expensive. Then one day Revane suggested this keyboard and mouse platform from 3M to me. I've been using the 3M gel wrist rest for two years (yes, it can be purchased separately) and it has worked well for me. This platform includes the same wrist rest and adds a mouse pad and sticky feet to tilt the platform if you so choose. As I use a trackpad I don't use the included mouse pad and prefer not to use sticky feet as I have already used similar rubber feet bought at my local hardware store to perfectly set up the keyboard and trackpad. Corner. I was happy to read the reviews and when I received mine I confirmed that the mouse pad, wrist rest and corner feet are not included. Since my two year old 3M gel palm rest is still in pristine condition, I attached it to the platform with the included soft tape (two sets were included) and will be saving the new palm rest for later when my current one wears out. . As you can see from the photo provided, this platform is a bit larger than my Apple keyboard + trackpad, but in my opinion it works exactly as I hoped. The packaging could have been better as I found one of the sticky legs had come loose. from the packing list and glued to the mouse pad. I was able to free it and put it back on the mailing list. My point is that 3M (or whoever sells these things) could do a better job with the packaging.
