UPDATE May 13, 2019: We've had one for a year now and it's falling apart. Yes, it hasn't been used in a few rainstorms, but it should last over a year. Several of the elastic cords holding the net to the frame broke off, and the net itself was torn in several places. My son throws a tee ball and sometimes a little league ball as intended. It's rare for an older person to be confronted with this, and when they are, it's not often. Love the curved design so you get flying balls or groundballs depending on where you hit it, but these things need to be built to last 5 years on the outside. ----------------------- -------------- ------ ------- ------ Bought for my 4 year old who is a baseball fanatic. It's built for more, of course, but it works great for that. I've used it too and it withstands a strong throw with no issues. Also looks better than most. The strike zone is a black vinyl strip with Velcro closure that is woven into the mesh. Thing is useless and has never been pitchbacked for more than an hour. They should consider how best to provide a box that can be self-printed on the Internet. Otherwise it's a great product and I highly recommend it.
