I eat at my desk and wanted a salt shaker that would fit in my paper towels and laptop stand. It fits perfectly. The pale pink is pretty and as an added bonus, the sliding lid lets me control how much salt comes out. My husband wanted one. One is in my kitchen and the other in my RV. etc.
