I'm not an audiophile and have never owned a Bose or Sony so can't make a comparison but I need wireless headphones for the gym etc and I have them as well as one Battery seen life and a reputation for audio engineering. I am interested in headphones. I also bought the V Moda Crossfade Wireless as they were significantly cheaper. They sound better to my ears. Significantly clearer and more balanced. Bass just right. Whereas in the V Moda the bass just overwhelms everything causing discomfort even after a few minutes of listening. In terms of build quality, the V Modas felt better and I had no desire to return them. However, they are still fairly reliable for their price. They're reasonably comfortable and sit well in place, but not as inconspicuous as the V Moda. I have yet to get her to the gym, but we'll see how that goes soon. UPDATE - there's just no comfort as they just put pressure on the ears. I literally listened to 4 songs and my ears hurt. I go back and look for a few behind the ear.
