These socks are everything I expected they are perfect I wasn't sure what size to buy because I wear shoes that are 9 1/2 wide, when i decided on the width of my shoes buy a large x-big presto they fit and feel good. Ever since I was a man, I've had toenail problems when I rip these socks, and I don't go to a nail salon to get a pedicure. I told my wife about this problem and she gave me some of her liners to cover my nails. These liners will stop tearing socks. Of course I file my nails before putting my hands in these socks. These socks are very easy to pierce with sharp nails as the fiber will snag and create tension and eventually a hole. I've dedicated my years to knitting technology so I understand everything from the fiber to the knit construction of these socks and overall I give them 5 stars.
