I like to read before bed and I always use either my cell phone or iPad to do it. It's nice to get something that can work as reading glasses and help with the blue light effect coming off the screen. I'm of an age where I can never have enough reading glasses so I bought a set of 4 and stashed the set in my purse, by the bed, by the couch and in the bathroom. I like 1.5x, it works well enough to help me see the fine print in things but not so much that it's bloated.
