I have arthritis in my hands so it was difficult to use a plastic bag or piping bag. In addition, it is very difficult to fill these bags. I saw this gadget and decided to try it. I wasn't particularly interested in the yolk strainer since I usually use my mini Cuisinart to mix the yolks, but since I have it I gave it a try. At best, it was difficult to strain the yolk through the holes in the plastic holes in the top. I just didn't have the strength and it hurt to push the yolk through the strainer. I've tried mixing sifted egg yolks in a container with unsatisfactory results, so I put the mess back in my trusty Cuisinart Mini. I found that even though the yolk was pushed through the sieve holes, they still contained small bits of yolk, which I didn't like. What I like is that it's easy to use the container to fill the eggs. Easy to fill and just squeeze out the filling. That's what I wanted. I have no more bags.
