After I received them, I washed them with hot water, they didn't shrink. I didn't fold them right away, I shook them well to fold them. Although they will need ironing if you are going to use them for formal wear, they are fine otherwise. I like them better than polyester doilies because they are cotton. I liked them and I recommend.

EASY TO CLEAN: Machine wash cold separately. To minimize shrinkage, tumble dry low, remove just before completely dry. Low iron content if required.
