This is amazing! Both the flame and the inside of the candle glow and flicker. The flame also has a very nice flickering motion, in my opinion the best motion I have ever seen from a battery operated candle. I've had it for 6 months now and use it every day. They turn on automatically for 5 hours a day with a timer. The timer works very well. I use 2 AA batteries that last exactly 2 weeks + an extra day. The candles never lose their brightness when the batteries die like some other battery operated candles do, they only go out when the batteries need to be replaced. While I give them all 5 stars, I will admit that these candles produce a slightly cold glow compared to the warm glow of other brands of battery operated candles and the candle itself is not the prettiest battery operated candle I have. ever seen - the kind of plastic - so it's also like a separate candle. BUT I highly recommend them if you want to build them into something! I have them in aquamarine frosted glass sconces and they look amazing and as real as can be!
