Big moving flame at an affordable price

Mystique is like the little brother of the original Luminara moving 'flameless' candles. A lot of their stuff is of much lower quality, but not this one. Luminara has a few that look and move exactly the same, but charge and cost around triple or more. I like them and having both options I prefer the battery versions. Plug in the battery and you're ready to go. And the timers are great. I have a sunset setting.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Don't remember

Very disappointed with these votives!

I recently bought two packs of votive candles with a timer. I was excited to receive them and see them come to life. They are very pretty and the light they give off is beautiful and just how I wanted it! However, if they worked well for about three days, after that they stopped working altogether. They turned on a timer and went out after about an hour, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter. Then I tried just turning them on and they still went off after a short while. I even tried changing the…

Very realistic but does not last long

These candles look good when they work. Unfortunately all 4 of mine only worked with a timer after 2 days. I checked the batteries on a multimeter and they tested just under 3 volts. Okay so I figured they must be battery pigs so I bought 6 batteries of a well known brand. The one where the rabbit beats the drum. After changing the battery I switched all 4 to the timer setting. 2 of them worked for a few minutes and then stopped. The other 2 candles worked 2 or 3 hours and died out. They were…

The battery cover on the bottom will wear out over time

I've bought these little tea lights about 6 times so it should be clear that I like them more than any other tea light. except the real ones. However, I keep ordering them because they wear out over time. The small protrusions that protrude from the sides of the battery cover are made of softer plastic than would be practical, and they wear out, so the battery - the CR2450 - ends up not being securely attached. spring in the housing. When you click the bottom, the light comes on, but it doesn't

Fixing Battery Cover Problem

Some have complained that after changing the battery, it was difficult to twist the battery cover to close it. You are correct, turning almost impossible to close it as received. However, I have found that if I use a small nail file to file a small bevel towards the top of both lid tabs where they first enter the battery compartment; the problem is simply solved. After filing a small bevel on each of the tabs, I had no trouble closing the battery cover. It would be an easy decision for the…

BEST Flameless Candles/WORST Flameless Candles

BEST Candles! THE WORST candles. These are really large flameless candles, about the size of a tea candle (actually a votive candle). These are the ONLY realistic moving candles of this size that I have ever found. I love them very much - until I have to change the battery. It's bloody hard to remove the battery cover and almost IMPOSSIBLE to put the cover back on! Nickel works best, but that's only about half the time. I broke a few of these trying to remove or reattach the battery cover. And…

LOVE THESE! in fixtures and ceiling fans

This is amazing! Both the flame and the inside of the candle glow and flicker. The flame also has a very nice flickering motion, in my opinion the best motion I have ever seen from a battery operated candle. I've had it for 6 months now and use it every day. They turn on automatically for 5 hours a day with a timer. The timer works very well. I use 2 AA batteries that last exactly 2 weeks + an extra day. The candles never lose their brightness when the batteries die like some other battery…

I received the WRONG PRODUCT? I have the brand MOVING FLAME (Liown).

I thought I would buy three sets of BOSTON WAREHOUSE MYSTIQUE WAREHOUSE MYSTIQUE WOTIVE flameless candles, but I received three sets of MOVING FLAME candles (item #10007) with a paper candle insert (Liown) inside. Crate. I bought 3 sets as gifts and chose to put the batteries in before wrapping/giving them away. I was completely dissatisfied with the quality of the product: #1) weak battery cover, #2) visible shadow from wires in the top 1" glowing part of the candle, #3) unattractive…
