Works well on Toyota Corolla, part broke trying to remove the filter, seems very strong and is sticking a little to the filter.

Very suitable. You need to make sure it is properly and fully seated on the oil filter cover. It fits so well and tightly that I left it on the oil filter cap after an oil change and also because I forgot.

A few months ago my Prius went out of service at the dealership. It's time to change the engine oil, so I bought a do-it-yourself oil change tool. However, the last dealer mechanic must have overtightened the filter housing, it's stuck. I lift the car off the ground (on the Quickjack) hoping to get some leverage to remove the filter. I got the upper hand, but the filter housing beat that piece of broken aluminum.

Wrench looks good but is too tight. At first I thought maybe I didn't have a direct connection, but THAT WAS NOT THE PROBLEM. I ended up having to tap it with a hammer, which created another problem as it was quite difficult if not impossible to remove. Tolerances are too tight, maybe a few thousandths tighter, making it difficult and frustrating to use.

This filter cap wrench works great! I recently bought a 2010 Prius. It was time for an oil change and I found that the oil filter cap was so tight that my other Toyota filter cap wrenches I bought from tool trucks just slipped off when I started squeezing them. I ordered this as a last resort to snap off and replace the cap. This large shank wrench removes the plastic plug without damage! Money well spent! I work at a local repair shop and can't wait to use this quality tool!

I bought this filter key because it turned out to be a good quality metal key on the net, but when I received it I realized that I didn't care the whole oil cartridge would sit. Cover/Cover on my Prius. Consequently, this wrench jammed when removing the oil filter cartridge cap/cap, making it nearly impossible to separate the two pieces without prying them open or hitting them with a hammer to separate them. Not a good time to find out that wrench is too small for a Prius oil filter…

Well I first bought the right hand filter cover key from Revain. Of course, as you can see, this failed miserably. Although it is made in the USA, the thoughts and ideas didn't exist when it was made by our folks at home. This thing slipped off and couldn't grip the filter cap as tightly. I took our car to the shop for a simple oil change. It fit, but just couldn't turn without slipping.
