Some have complained that after changing the battery, it was difficult to twist the battery cover to close it. You are correct, turning almost impossible to close it as received. However, I have found that if I use a small nail file to file a small bevel towards the top of both lid tabs where they first enter the battery compartment; the problem is simply solved. After filing a small bevel on each of the tabs, I had no trouble closing the battery cover. It would be an easy decision for the manufacturer to do this before packaging the devices in an ideal world. Or just rework the lid for future builds. However, as many of us have found over the years that tab A doesn't always fit into slot A without modifications by the end user, this is a fairly easy modification that almost anyone can make to the battery cover to get it working properly . Without the slight modification of taking the square cut end and making it bevel; The battery cover can be a real bear, closes with normal pressure and is impossible for many people.
