Review on πŸ”† Avery Clear Laminating Sheets, 9x12, Permanent Self-Adhesive, Pack of 50 Sheets (73601) by Kevin Caldwell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Surprisingly bad product - paper does not peel off the sheet!

I've tried this on several sheets and attached photos of the ends of one sheet: as you can see the end of the sheet that says PEEL HERE does not come off cleanly! Maybe because the sheets are dry? (See note below for two other brands that contain sheets in plastic bags.) I tested Avery with several sheets and got the same result. I have tried single sided sheets from Scotch and Everest and each product has a sheet pack. Comes in a separate sealed cello bag inside a carton. But not Avery. I'm so surprised by Avery as that name is usually the reference for labels and other companies. Waste of $12 to buy this product but then I checked which brand is better. Speaking of which - and for those of you who need a single sided laminate film, here are some testimonials: EVEREST is the better of the two compared to SCOTCH. Everest 3M panels peel off easily and smooth out more easily with fewer bubbles or wrinkles. I can even lift the corner and change the sheet position. You can't do that with scotch. SCOTCH 6 mil. The sheets peel off easily but are much harder to control in terms of bubbles, wrinkles etc. And once that sticky sheet makes contact with your surface (I have Canon's photo quality color printer paper) it stays stuck and you can't move or detach from the spine fixation. I tried it once and the glossy paper came off! If you need a tight laminate, then 6 mil tape. would be a choice but if you can live with thinner 3 mil. Leaf, then I see that Everest is much better. As for Avery, I think Live and Learn. Don't try to come back; I only eat $12 and think I'm a little smarter.
