I would give this review 4.5 stars if I could. I had low expectations as I knew nothing about the brand and you never know if you can trust random Revain reviewers (I say that, a random Revain reviewer). But I needed fabric paint for a Christmas present, so I took the plunge. Colors supplied were good, fairly standard paint colors which is fine, no neon or mermaid colors or anything like that. The paint itself applies fairly well (I painted on a cotton t-shirt - don't know if it would make a difference, but I soaked it in soda to color it first. It probably doesn't matter, but only in case). Dries pretty quickly which I wasn't expecting. But it's not blurry or anything, it's very smooth after traveling in frigid weather. The brushes were pretty good too. The cheap brushes are hard to work with, but they seemed like a much more expensive product (with the caveat that I don't often use fancy artwork). There are no protruding bristles in my works, they are easy to handle. The little mixing palette was a nice touch and encouraged me to mix more than I would otherwise. Cons: - Instructions would be nice. Knowing how to freeze a design, or at least confirming that it's not necessary, would be great, as would some understanding of washing. The tubes are very small. That being said, the color seems quite pigmented, so a little goes a long way. Nevertheless, they are small. I would like to spend a few bucks more and get bigger tubes. -It would be cool if there was a sponge or a fan brush or something else for the texture. It would just be a bonus. I really can't think of any other disadvantages. The gift I gave was a huge hit (my son drew a wolf and I transferred and colored it onto a tie-dye shirt) for a notoriously bad gift recipient, and it didn't cost me much money to give. extra touch.
