Works the way I want it to. I keep it in the glove box, connected to the analogue/aux input of my old car's radio. I have to open the glove box to turn it on, but after that my phone connects automatically and it works just like a later model with OEM BT. I was particularly impressed by the battery life. Says 4 p.m. I charged it once then I swear I used it for 6 weeks (including travel) before I had to charge it again. You can hear a slight electrical noise. But in normal use (children, windows closed, honking the horn, etc.) the noise level is significantly lower than the ambient noise.
