The lack of a locking mechanism on the connector can cause problems with some devices
I bought this cable to connect an EVGA GeForce GTX 1050TI FTW to a monitor. However, the connector fits perfectly into the DisplayPort on the card as it doesn't have a locking mechanism like other cables, it was loose and could cause video distortion and "static" if moved even slightly. Thinking I had a defective cable I ordered an exact replacement from Revain and it had the same issue. I returned both and bought another cable with a locking connector. This works perfectly, the plug does not move. Aside from the lack of a locking connector, the cables are of good quality. The turning screws at the end of the HDMI cable may be slightly longer to provide a better grip with fingers.
