Review on Kenko Multi Coated Mobile Devices KRP 04SW by William Rothstein

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Beautiful, very beautiful but limited use (for me)

I was about to give this lens kit 3 stars but after spending some time I felt it might be a bit unfair. I got good, crisp images with my results, but I think I had higher expectations, which weren't quite met. let me explain. The wide angle is only 0.6X, which isn't as much as I thought would be achievable in real world results. The IQ (image quality) was really good, but as another reviewer pointed out, if you use a case (I keep my Samsung Galaxy S6 phone in an extended battery case all the time) you will every time you want , experiencing inconveniences . Use the camera attachment. This attachment will not work in most (maybe all) cases. So in summary an excellent IQ, but the results are not very broad, at least not what I expected. I also tried the wide-angle camera on the front for selfies and wasn't entirely satisfied with this result either. This gave an unflattering "bubble face" look. Moving on to the macro lens, it was fun but then again this is a very specialized tool. There may be people who use it regularly, but for most people the novelty wears off quickly. I was very impressed with the photo quality of this lens, but I don't use it often. In the end, this is a good set of lenses, but evaluate your needs. I see that Kenko has multiple styles and focal lengths for this series of lens attachments. There may be some that are perfect for your needs. Rest assured that the IQ of your photos will be very good, but make sure of your needs before purchasing.
