Review on National Tree Company 5 ft Hickory Cedar Slim Pre-lit Christmas Tree with White Lights and Stand by Douglas Holla

These trees are in a mess. Such a disappointment. I bought the 3ft, 4ft and 5ft versions and they all look bad. First, each section has its own light string, but each string only has one connector. They cannot be attached to each other and must all be independently attached to the wall. It looks so bad I think I could stick an extension cord in each tree and hook everything up, but my goodness, what a disaster. They are also completely empty. I ended up putting them in a corner so no one could see their backs and pulling all the branches forward. It took forever and it doesn't look very good. The branches are scattered, so I wrapped each tree in a shiny beaded wire garland to break them up. So the pearls look nice, but the trees still don't. The trunk is not bark as I have seen on most other trees of this species. It is a metal rod wrapped in brown fringed plastic material. The bottom is an ugly metal plate so I put burlap under all three to hide the plates and the ridiculous amount of wire coming from each tree. frustrating exercise. Too bad I didn't send them back when I could. They're fine now, so I'll forget about them until December 26th, when I throw them in the trash with such relief.
