In looking for a new winter jacket, I had a few requirements in features which included sleeves that gathered at the wrist to prevent wind from going up my arms. It had to have a hood that was easy to fit and not obstructing my sight, removable and furry for the cute factor, and yes, the fur is removable from the hood. Then I needed something that fit well around the bottom of the jacket, having draw strings to bring it closer to the body and prevent the wind from racing up the inside thus making me cold. Not too long or short, but if you are reading this review and wonder if it is going to cover your behind, nope, it's just below the waist. I found it to be put together quite nicely, with the stitching not having any gaps or loose threads and being strong where it matters most in where the body does the most movement. The sleeves are therefore assured to remain attached to the body of the jacket.🙂The fit was true to size and I purchased an XL, but I was a little disappointed in the color choices that were available. I selected the black and I was hoping that I wouldn't have to. The other choices were light blue and white, both having the tendency to get dirty visibly faster, especially in salt all over the place Milwaukee. Black it is. Again. Accessories in bright red or cobalt should do the trick. Purple? Yes! Don't mind if I do! (And I did.) The jacket is very warm and for myself, I am confident that a thermal will do the job for -5°F with a good wind chill and even colder. Great value for the price and recommended. I am very happy with this purchase.
