My stepdaughter has just completed basic army, military police training. I bought this as part of her HS graduation gift. It's hard to find something approved for basic training, but when she sent her recruiter a photo, he said it was perfect. She's not used to wearing a watch because she's always on the phone, but since they can't have phones, she liked the watch. I wore it immediately and was delighted. Highly recommended.
