👶 Casio BGD140-1ACR Baby-G Shock-Resistant Multi-Function Digital Watch for Women Review

This watch is perfect. I never had a tactical style watch that fit my small wrist until Baby G came along! The band is very comfortable and stays in place. The time is a little hard to see in low light, but the glow feature is perfect. The Baby G is significantly smaller than the regular G damper as you can see in my photo.

I bought this watch in September 2015 and it still works great. I've only taken it off a few times meaning I wear it to the gym, in the shower etc. It's so durable too; I've scratched and bumped into so many things (because I'm clumsy) and it's just a few nicks here and there. I highly recommend this watch!

In fact, this is the second watch of this model that I have bought. I lost the first one and this is a replacement. I like that everything is black and that it's a regular watch with all the features a watch should have. A lot of women's watches are "feminized," which apparently just means making them less utilitarian and adding crazy colors. This is a regular watch but scaled down to fit a smaller wrist.

My stepdaughter has just completed basic army, military police training. I bought this as part of her HS graduation gift. It's hard to find something approved for basic training, but when she sent her recruiter a photo, he said it was perfect. She's not used to wearing a watch because she's always on the phone, but since they can't have phones, she liked the watch. I wore it immediately and was delighted. Highly recommended.

I took this for my 8 year old son on camping and other adventures. He wears it every day and is damn cool (almost all guys act like that). She easily survives swimming twice a day and other activities. They're easy to put on and he loves them because they look military (all black is super cool). It's easy to give that 5 stars based on how much he loves this watch and its longevity. Please note that it is small in terms of size, the strap fits (just a little) and the dial is a great size for it.

I wanted something durable and practical, no GPS because of my work. This is perfect, except the screen itself is very difficult to read. It's black on black, so you either have to press the light button to read it or just be in a bright spot. Apart from that it was great. The size and looks of this watch were great, but the legibility of the white negative on the black dial made it difficult to read in low light or at any angle except about a read at a 45 degree angle to the dial hours. From any other angle, the digital dial darkened. The readings are also embedded in the face, again limiting viewing within critical angles. I personally prefer black on white for legibility, especially in low light. I've worn a Casio watch in the police force for over 40 years…

Overall I am very satisfied with this watch so far. Pros: The Baby-G design is definitely recommended for the smallest of women's wrists. I lift weights and have fairly muscular forearms and I still think the men's version of this watch would be too big and cumbersome for my wrist. The size is good.
