Overall the product works and does its job. One cable gets me 50mb/s speeds while the other does 12mb/s speeds and I'm not quite sure if its a faulty cable. I tested both cables on three different computers with the same results.Luckily, 12mb/s is fast enough and I already ran the cable through the house so I really dont feel like returning the item but I'd like to know if its a defect or something to do with the router. I'm thinking its a defect because it does not matter where the first cable

Stable Connection Achieved

My internet was crashing daily and I would have to reboot, which takes well over 30 minutes because I've been having all kinds of problems with my computer ever since that Microsoft update took effect that tries to tell you that your copy of windows is not genuine and disables MS word and excel. That's another story, but I thought this was related. Every time the kids try to get the wifi password, t

Pros
  • Nice Cable and worked great!
Cons
  • Limited length may not be sufficient for some users

It really is that much better.

I'm not paid or endorsed in any way by KableDirekt. Just my honest review.I have paid a lot of money for cables over the years in an effort to find the best. In my opinion, this is the best ethernet cable you can buy. There may be overkill cables out there selling for $100 but that is unnecessary and doesn't provide much. This cable really is made the way they say and it really supports 1 Gbps speeds over a long distance.Highly recommend this company.

Pros
  • So far so good except for power outages.
Cons
  • Could be difficult to connect or disconnect

Cable got stuck in laptop, too much plastic on the pin!

I'd give this 5 stars, but one of the cables got stuck in my laptop. I would press the release button on the cable, but it wouldn't release from my laptop. I ended up bending a piece of metal in my laptop to have it release when I used excessive force to yank the cable out. Hopefully this won't affect it when plugging in other LAN cables connected to my laptop. I think a blue plastic piece was too big on the cable so it wouldn't get past the metal holder when you press the release pin on the…

Pros

did the job good for me

was easier and less expensive that trying to get wifi extenders and going through all that set up. made it so her computer was now hard wired. she doesnt have any issues with her connection it connects at both ends and gives her what she needs. I have no complaints . do need to teach her that a drill has a reverse and forward button though. she kept me under the house waiting for her to drill the 1/2 inch hole to come up through the floor. took her over 30 minutes all to find out she had it in…

Pros
  • Cable works as it should
Cons
  • Could have poor connectivity in certain areas

Works great to remote a WiFi router. (Using 2 of these cables)

I put my WiFi router across a large room to make it central to the house. The cable modem has an unmanaged switch sitting next it it, and I ran its WAN cable to the router, and LAN cable back to the switch. That way the router (with its WiFi antennas) is where it's needed, and the LAN cables run to various things in the house don't have to all be extended too. (TV's, computer, DirecTV Genie, etc)Control and programming of the router is done through the switch from one of the computers. If doing

Pros
  • Compatibility with most operating systems, including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux, for maximum versatility and convenience
Cons
  • Could be prone to signal interference

The connectors are the weak link

This is a good bargain for the money and works well for us. The connectors are the cheapest I've personally seen on an ethernet cable but they are replaceable if it comes to that. This is a 100' foot run through two walls that works great. I'd wish the connectors weren't so flimsy.

Pros
  • China
Cons
  • May not be able to handle heavy network traffic

Incredible Value And Tough As Nails!

Gave this cable (75') a shot at transmitting DirecTV from living room to far bedroom. Had to route over home theatre thus ran parallel with several 120 volt Romex cables. Despite all that, the signal came through crystal clear. I attribute that in a large part to the 100% foil shield under the outer sheath. I must admit that the cable is constructed of pretty tough outer covering that remained in a tight coil after unwrapping. I managed to string it out in the basement for a few days and it…

Quality item on my review.

Our residence hall was wired in ethernet 5e, but jacks are only inside the rooms, not in open areas. This is an older building with lots of brick inside and out. In order to relocate a router, I needed to extend an ethernet cable over a drop ceiling, through two interior walls, and back out into the open space. This cable did the job well; the download speed on the router was not compromised at all. Job done to everyone's satisfaction.

Pros
  • High speed: CableDirect Ethernet and LAN cables are designed and tested to not only meet but exceed current internet speed requirements in the US. Perfect for achieving maximum data transfer rates – whether for gaming, surfing, or video streaming
Cons
  • Could be prone to interference from other devices

Total game changer in my review

Hi, as a gamer I know just how important internet speed is for competitive gaming, without a stable internet connection, it's next to impossible to compete at a high level, or any level honestly. And since my router is about 70 feet away from my gaming computer, my internet was horrendous, so I was looking for a faster internet connection.I took a look at all of my options and ended up deciding to get an ethernet cable long enough to reach my computer.I was worried at first that since the cable

Pros
  • Durable design that guarantees break-proof construction, ensuring long-lasting use and protection of your equipment
Cons
  • Could be too short for certain set-ups

Good Cables! Light in weight?

I was skeptical when purchasing these cables. When I opened the packaging I immediately noticed how light the cable was compared to my older CAT6 cable. I am updating my wireless to Unifi Access Point and wanted a good cable for both the data and PoE. Well. These cables seem to be up to the task. Data is fast. The one thing I noticed is these cables are easy to kink. I was pulling a cable down the wall and it kinked at the top of the stud. I thought I broke the cable. I tested it and it seems…

85mbs download and 11.5 upload. I love it!

The reason I bought this Ethernet cable is because my upstairs Wi-Fi connect was very slow. I simply ran out of patients and had to have something faster. I have xfenity/Comcast Internet and they advertise "up to 100mgs download speed." When I ran a speed test on my wife's computer downstairs (right next to the router) she was getting an average of 85mbs down and 11.8mbs up on her Ethernet connection. That is excellent. My router is a Linksys EA4500 and they recommend at least a Cat-5E…

Great wire while it lasted

Have had the 75ft variant for just over a year (October marked a year) and today it just stopped giving me full gigabit speeds. Down to 100mbs. Tried using multiple ports on both my modem and different PCs, but I am capped at 100 up and down. Going to have to dock a star because it did perform well, but disappointingly not for too long.

It's a cable, but it's a thick, durable one

Bought this to replace a cable that had started failing in the connection to our router. With Prime, this cable came in less than 48 hours. Plugged it in and have had no problems (it wasn't a throughput issue, but upgrading to Cat6 from Cat5 was worth the extra dollar) in staying connected. And the little tabs to help unplug are a "Finally!" upgrade to those danged tabs that always get stuck and are impossible to operate unless you have long fingernails.I have no issues with this cable, but one

Don't waist your time using this cable for video or audio

The price was right but the signal quality and integrity suffered greatly. This review reflects my experience with this product for A/V use only.I use Cat5e, Cat 6 and Cat 7 for passing audio signal as well as video. I frequently use the exact cable specs (Cat 6, TIA 568-C) for passing audio in live sound applications as well as in my studio.I also use this cable type for passing video content (HDMI to Cat6 (send) and Cat 6 to HDMI) for video presentations as well as sending video to a program…

Pros
  • Well constructed and my transfer rates are improved over the Cat5 I was using.
Cons
  • May not work well in high-traffic environments

Great stuff! AND, a day early!

For 1GB connection to my new Xfinity modem to my desktop. For 1GB connection to my new Xfinity modem for my TV/4K in the next room over, not that the TV needs the bandwidth, but the long Cat5E I had was old. Because my new Xfinity modem takes away two Ethernet ports compared to the four on the one it replaced, I had to order a new Netgear 1GB hub for my other things that require Ethernet. These cords will take care of those, too, eventually.Advise: Unroll them carefully and patiently. Very…

Pros
  • Superior performance that supports a wide range of devices including routers, modems, switches, and LANs for efficient data transfer
Cons
  • Could be difficult to detect and diagnose issues

Worth it for the price!

[Does the job] I needed an ethernet from my downstairs router to wrap up to the second floor to the master bedroom. This was the CHEAPEST 100 feet cable I could find that performs just as well as the other more "expensive" ones. Haven't noticed any lag at all in switching cables. Comes with tools if you want to pin it along walls and corners.

Pros
  • Durable: This cable is built to last thanks to its special twisted pair structure that protects against interference. Pick the perfect cable from our wide range of different lengths and enjoy a fast and smooth connection
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for outdoor use

Work well for gigabit connections

I had to track down some cabling in my network that was acting as a choke point throttling my connections to 100mbps speeds. I replaced the older cables with these and everything's back up to 1000mbps. The connectors clicked in as expected, and everything feels solid. You can't really beat it for the price. I don't know if they'll handle anything higher than GigE speeds, since I don't have that kind of network equipment at the house.

Cons
  • May not fit all ports or jacks

overall great but. in my review

writing this after a year of use, i ordered a 2 pack, use 1 for pc and other for xbox one x. For my pc no problems whatsoever very happy with it, for xbox i seem to run into problems. at random it will just drop connection i could go a month without this problem and then sometimes happens daily or a few times a day, not sure if its 1 faulty cord or not cause it works most of the time if tested other cords too and works fine no random connection dropping. Aside from all that when it does work i…
