Wood is fragile but looks nice. I just needed a bathroom shelf to make room for the sink, so don't worry too much about a sturdy solution. However, this product is barely functional. There are no pre-drilled holes in the shelves so the screws to attach the shelf to the brackets were not easy to tighten. A hole started cracking and I had to apply putty to fix it. It's under the bracket and not visible, but I'm worried it won't be able to support the weight on the shelf now. Let's see when the putty has dried, otherwise I'll send it back. There are only three wall anchors. They suggest using 2 and gave us a 3rd to spare which I think is fine but I'd rather have 4 and actually set it up properly. Seems solid enough with 2 for what I need to put in there, but a silly exception. Another exception is the correct bit size for these anchors. They start out narrow but thicken up and this forced me to redrill larger bits several times until I got the right result. The size would be extremely helpful to avoid wrong assumptions. If all goes well I'll leave it as it looks good and should do the job, but if you're expecting something solid and well designed, keep looking.
