I needed something to extend the SATA power cable because my tower case is a bit big. I needed something long enough to neatly trace the route from the front to the back of the tower without stretching it. My main goal was to route cables in a way that would keep the front of my computer looking neat. I also needed one for my internal USB 3 card. Works great, no complaints. This cable is well assembled and I had no trouble installing it.
