After reading other reviews about it being "small", "tighter than usual", "not a US shirt size" was, I decided to order. Completely unnecessary. I like to wear a sporty shirt that is usually a bit narrower in the waist and that's how this shirt fits. I'm sure there are many different factors such as body type, fit preferences, etc. that decide what is 'too small', but if you don't want a loose fitting shirt, just buy your normal size. the shirt is good. I love the color options and the buttons have a slightly unusual pattern that helps them stand out. In general, the purchase is very satisfied.
