Great headphones, lousy microphone

The sound quality of the headphones is excellent, especially at low frequencies. If you want to use them to listen to music, they're great. However, if you want to use them with your phone, the microphone volume is not enough. When used with my OnePlus 3 Android phone, the microphone level is about 15-20dB lower than the phone's built-in microphone or other headsets I use. And it's too quiet to use - the interlocutor just can't hear me well enough. So they're fine for stereo headphones, but as a phone headset they just don't meet the minimum mic level requirements.
