This set of 2 chargers was purchased to add more charging stations around the home and when travelling. These chargers were chosen over others because there were no reviews related to the watch or charger overheating. Since this might bother others as well, I want to share some random tests I ran before we started using them. The tests used an inexpensive USB voltage/current meter to compare the current on an original Samsung charger and on this charger. The first two tests were performed using a standard Samsung power adapter. An identical test was run using an Anker USB wall charger with a higher voltage than Samsung's to ensure these chargers don't overcharge at higher voltages. The pictures show the original Samsung charger first and then this charger. Although the current was a bit higher I think it's close enough to the OEM to be safe and not negatively impact battery life. I've attached a photo of a Samsung OEM wall charger so show me the specs. The following photos were taken with the Anker PowerPort+ wall charger. Note the higher voltage, but the current stays close for both OEM and these aftermarket chargers. After these short tests I am sure that they are safe to use. The build feels solid, and as other reviews have noted, the cable is slightly longer than the OEM.
