You can buy a new lid for $2 less than a new multicooker or replacement handle. My original handle broke but the bolt was torn off. Believe me, I've tried removing it with a drill, handsaw, etc. I ended up having to turn to my brother-in-law for help. I could buy an exact replacement, but I saw such a cute leaf I couldn't resist, and the leaf is a spoon to balance on. In fact, I'm very happy with this solution and didn't have to buy a new slow cooker or throw a working slow cooker in a landfill. (I teach 8th grade science and teach my students about recycling.) As an added bonus, my daughter had the same issue and has now installed a second multi-cooker blade handle.
