First, the lever doesn't actually lock the breech to the post. A set screw is included to lock the clasp in place. However, the set screw that comes with the device is too short, allowing it to go all the way through the clasp without tightening it to the stand and doing its job as intended. Then the monitor gets damaged because it slides and bangs against your desk because nothing is strong enough to hold the fastener in place. Don't buy this!
