My Saab has a weird quirk that doesn't allow the aux cable to play music with the Android device. My Saab allows the iPhone to play music using a normal auxiliary cable. I once read somewhere that if you use an auxiliary cable with a volume control on the cable, Saab allows the Android device to play music. I love my Saab but wish they didn't have this weird quirk. However, this accessory cable worked and now my Android device plays music in my Saab. Wire colors are great too. So far, so good! Update November 2020 It now appears that most if not all of the accessory cables I use work for my Saab. It seems that the need for a cable with a volume control to operate an Android device is no longer relevant.
