I confess that I love collecting craft boxes, especially those with tools inside. I could imagine worse addictions. At least I use mine and put it to good use, plastic box was fine, have to see how it holds up. I can always put my tools in the tin box I have. It's nice that you can see exactly what you have inside. I didn't have a needle case, not metal. I have several made of wood so this is new to me. The metal thimble just sits in the box as I only use leather, but it's nice. I really like the metal awl as it is useful not only for machine sewing but also for hand embroidery. I had a lovely brass one that was lost when I moved in 6 years ago so it got to me just in time.
