This bracket is specially designed for hanging pictures on the wall, but is also strong enough to hang floating tables on the wall. I have used different sizes of this setup for long tables, tables with small lamps and even a floating shoe rack. If you have hangers screwed to wall studs, they hold a lot of weight. For items longer than 24 inches I would recommend purchasing a set of two hangers to support the weight. The walls aren't always flat, as I found when hanging my 70 inch table. I will continue to buy this brand for future projects.
