Update: I've had them on my porch for a few weeks now. They withstood low (30 degrees) temperatures, strong winds and rain. I like the convenience of not having to plug them in. However, this has two major disadvantages. First of all they are not very bright. Obviously not as bright as in the pictures. In addition, the batteries run out quickly. I changed two sets of batteries in 3 weeks. Very easy to set up. I like that they are battery operated and not mains powered. The different modes are great. I had to drop my rating by one star because the lights themselves are not as bright as the much cheaper lights I got from CVS. I've only had the glows for a few days so I don't know how long they will last.
