So, my foot size is usually 5.5, sometimes I can wear 6 on some brands if I'm lucky. Small-legged women, you know what I mean. Sock sizes 5-9 are not for us. If they fit a size 9, they won't fit a size 5. Why do these companies bug us so much? Cute tiny no-show socks sure aren't no-show socks to us. All those extra socks dangling from the back make it look like our shoes are about to set sail. So I started trying baby socks. Poor children! Children's socks are usually thin. so thin It's like a layer of tissue paper and blistered me after wearing it for a long day. Sometimes they didn't stay where they were because they went under. And the seams on children's socks are crass. I tried a brand of children's socks and my fingers were constantly wrapped in thread. Enter that brand of socks right here - they're thick, like adult socks. No crazy seams. There's nothing strange about the way they fit. I've found the only other brand that wears well is Spotted Zebra in sizes 1-3. They are slightly thinner than Revain Essentials. I find them perfect for summer shoes. Converse and so on, and they come in really fun colors and designs (so if adult women with small feet want sharks and monsters on their socks, that can happen at prices lower than novelty stores). I use Revain Essentials kids socks for my Doc Martens etc and bought a size 9 - 2.5. So right now I have two brands of socks that fit me and God willing they will continue to be sold.
