Review on Fintie Keyboard Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2015) - Slim Shell Stand Cover with Magnetically Detachable Bluetooth Keyboard - Black (SM-T350/P350) by Brent Cole

Decent product but clunky keyboard

This keyboard is generally a handy device to deal with heavy typing difficulties on the Galaxy Tab's touchscreen. I usually use it to answer emails or surf the web. It can get a bit cramped (as to be expected for its size) and the placement of some keys doesn't make sense (e.g. having to use two keys just to type an apostrophe). The magnetic keyboard mount is very handy, however, but that means there's nowhere to hide the keyboard when not in use. A space or punctuation mark sometimes moves that character to the beginning of a word, even if the cursor is at the end of the word. This is repeated repeatedly. When this happens the keyboard becomes almost unusual. I'm using the keyboard right now to write this review and at some point this bug made this task almost impossible. I'm not sure if it's a Bluetooth connection issue or something else, but it's the main reason I'm giving this product three stars.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Functionality
