Most blocks are too small
Most blocks are small yellow, about the length of my hand. You can't build a very large wall with it, so a disappointment for the price. They are strong because there are 2 flaps inside the block that fold in for extra support. My childhood bricks had a crunch in the middle, so that's a nice feature. Look for a set of blocks about 12 inches long.
