Since new cars don't have ashtrays and I refuse to throw my ass out the window, I needed something to use in my car and this seemed like the bill on paper to fill. Here's what they don't tell you: This thing is NOT waterproof. I had trouble getting my cigarettes out from the rim of the ashtray so I poured some water in. The next day I had a cup holder full of smelly brown water leaking at the bottom. Now I know not everyone wants to pour water in it, and maybe I'm being picky, but if they don't give you a surface to blow the smoke on, they should have expected it. I ended up throwing it away and going back to the half full vitamin water bottle method.
